Os resultados desta pesquisa deram origem ao livro <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Long-Short-Balancing-Long-Term-Strategies\/dp\/085294134X\">\u201c<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Long-Short-Balancing-Long-Term-Strategies\/dp\/085294134X\">The long and short of i<\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Long-Short-Balancing-Long-Term-Strategies\/dp\/085294134X\">t\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neste estudo, observaram que se olharmos para as vendas das empresas ao longo do tempo \u00e9 poss\u00edvel se verificar dois padr\u00f5es: ativa\u00e7\u00e3o de vendas a curto prazo e constru\u00e7\u00e3o de marca a longo prazo (figura 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A ativa\u00e7\u00e3o de vendas \u00e9 referente ao&nbsp;investimento em a\u00e7\u00f5es de performance a curto prazo para o p\u00fablico-alvo da empresa,&nbsp;atrav\u00e9s de publicidade paga (ex.: google <em>ads<\/em>), promo\u00e7\u00f5es e ofertas de pacotes de produto, em que as vendas sobem rapidamente, no entanto assim que se p\u00e1ra com o investimento as vendas descem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por outro lado,&nbsp;a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de marca s\u00e3o atividades institucionais associadas com a promo\u00e7\u00e3o e divulga\u00e7\u00e3o dos valores &amp; benef\u00edcios da marca<strong> <\/strong>para todo o mercado em geral (ex.: r\u00e1dio, jornal, <em>outdoors<\/em>, <em>podcasts<\/em>), sendo os seus resultados incrementais a longo prazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"464\" src=\"https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.55.14-1024x464.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-857\" srcset=\"https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.55.14-1024x464.png 1024w, https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.55.14-300x136.png 300w, https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.55.14-768x348.png 768w, https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.55.14.png 1654w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Figura 1: Ativa\u00e7\u00e3o de vendas vs Constru\u00e7\u00e3o de marca<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qual o &#8220;perigo&#8221; no pensamento das empresas hoje em dia?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>O verdadeiro \u201cperigo\u201d que gostamos de real\u00e7ar \u00e9 que, hoje em dia, os gestores e l\u00edderes de neg\u00f3cio tendem a pensar somente num per\u00edodo de 6 meses (<a href=\"https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/a-empresa-do-futuro\/\">pensamento t\u00e1tico<\/a>), o que negligencia e abranda poss\u00edveis crescimentos superiores futuros da empresa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neste estudo, \u00e9 not\u00f3rio que o foco em ativa\u00e7\u00f5es de vendas a curto prazo tem um ROI muito superior (figura 2), contudo este indicador apenas tem em considera\u00e7\u00e3o um espa\u00e7o temporal muito reduzido, o que n\u00e3o contempla o pensamento estrat\u00e9gico a longo prazo (resultados vis\u00edveis na figura 1). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assim sendo, caso a sua empresa pense sempre em ciclos de 6 meses, nunca ter\u00e1 os benef\u00edcios dos resultados a longo prazo, ou seja, a sua empresa crescer\u00e1, mas menos robusta e n\u00e3o tanto quanto poderia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"446\" src=\"https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.58.34-1024x446.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-858\" srcset=\"https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.58.34-1024x446.png 1024w, https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.58.34-300x131.png 300w, https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.58.34-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/squadra.pt\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Captura-de-ecra\u0303-2021-11-10-a\u0300s-09.58.34.png 1824w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Figura 2: Combina\u00e7\u00e3o do foco em longo e curto prazo<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mas afinal, por qual destes padr\u00f5es a sua empresa deve optar?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Na verdade, nenhum dos dois padr\u00f5es \u00e9 melhor do que o outro, pois n\u00e3o existe sucesso na constru\u00e7\u00e3o de marca sem uma boa ativa\u00e7\u00e3o de vendas a curto prazo.
